Ex-posed

"Ex-posed" is a work in progress that contains a series of models from the network of the artist.

The works contains two parts.  The original picture is printed on recycled patches, the pieces then get stiched and exhibited.  Not only in exhibition rooms, but also in the streets, nature, ...   By weathering the outdoor conditions, the work becomes a dynamic process.   In this project, the artist is in search of a personal vision of beauty and truth and the impact of time on beauty.

All models are related to the artist.  Fleeting acquaintances but also the closest friends.  The project is an ode to those who assist the artist in life and work.

"Ex-posed" can be taken quite literally (in the past posed), but also the definition in English is important: the exposure, but also "not protected , not shielded".

The project contains studies on several formats and the large works (200cm x 90cm) (ie. 78" x 35").


Ex-posed ("Εκ-τεθειμένος / Απο-καλυμένος")

Το "Ex-posed" ("Εκ-τεθειμένος / Απο-καλυμένος") είναι ένα έργο σε εξέλιξη και παρουσιάζει μία σειρά μοντέλων από τον κύκλο του καλλιτέχνη.

Το έργο έχει δύο μέρη.  Όχι μόνο σε εκθεσιακούς χώρους, αλλά και στους δρόμους, στην φύση, ... Με το να υποβάλλεται στις εξωτερικές συνθήκες, το έργο υπόκειται σε μια δυναμική διαδικασία.   Με αυτό το τρόπο, ο καλλιτέχνης αναζητά ένα προσωπικό όραμα ομορφιάς και αλήθειας και την επίδραση του χρόνου στο ωραίο.

Όλα τα μοντέλα σχετίζονται με τον καλλιτέχνη.  Φευγαλέες γνωριμίες αλλά και οι στενότεροι φίλοι.  Το έργο είναι μία ωδή σε αυτούς που στηρίζουν τον καλλιτέχνη στη ζωή και στο έργο του.

Το "Ex-posed" μπορεί να ερμηνευθεί σχετικά κατά γράμμα ("Αυτοί/ές που έχουν στο παρελθόν (ex-) ποζάρει (posed)"), αλλά επιπλέον η σημασία του στα αγγλικά είναι σημαντική, δηλαδή: η (φωτογραφική) έκθεση, όπως επίσης και "απροστάτευτος / εκτεθειμένος".

Περιλαμβάνονται σπουδές σε διάφορα formats και στα μεγαλύτερα έργα (200cm x 90cm) (ie. 78" x 35").
